I have Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1. I use the default Aero theme, where the only change I made was the PaddedBorderWidth equals to zero.

And suddenly, after a reboot, the PaddedBorderWidth property restored its value back to 4.

I change it again to 0, everything seems to be ok but after every reboot, the value restores back to 4.

I tried something else: I installed VistaGlazz and installed a different theme. But after the reboot, the system restores again the default aero theme (having PaddedBorderWidth equals to 4 again).

I don't know what else to do! Any help?

    Thank you in advance,

    Stratos Nikolaidis,

I'm not sure, perhaps you have Deep Freeze or something similar on?

What does the paddedborderwidth do, make the border width smaller?

I found it. I had tried the StyleSelector and that was doing the whole damage. I uninstalled it and everything is ok!

    Thanx anyway! :)
