Hey guys I.m new in site but I have a big problem.
Accidentally I formatted my HDD, and lost all data. i went back to install the OS but it keep saying HDD not found and I can't even access the CMOS setup to point to the HDD. So finally I end buying a new HDD and installed. But i need my data from the defect Hard drive.
    Anyone have an idea?

if your HD died chances are you can never get the data back. Your best bet is to take it into a shop and see what they can do for you.

One time my friend thought his HD died but he used a Ubuntu Live CD and found all his data there
