Boot into Vista without encountering the boot selection screen

If for most of the time you will be using only one operating system, it is kind of pointless to go through the boot selection time each time you turn on your computer, especially when all it does is increase the time it takes for you to start working on your computer.

The boot-selection screen can easily be bypassed by following these steps:

1) Click on the Start Pearl > Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings

2) Click on Settings under Startup and Recovery

3) Then all you have to do is simply uncheck the box beside Time to display list of operating systems

You might want to make sure that the selected Default OS is Windows Vista before choosing Ok. This should speed up the boot-up process by a couple of seconds.
