Enable hidden Vista boot screen
I actually find it very odd that Windows Vista has a completely black boot-up screen. What is more queer is that Microsoft actually does have a boot-screen available, however, you will have to compromise the scrolling bar you usually see running when you boot up windows.
Enabling the hidden boot screen is simple.
- Press the Start Orb
- Run msconfig. Or type msconfig in the Search bar and press enter.

- Click on the boot tab.

- Check the box beside No GUI boot.
